Today, these cookies are enjoyed in various adaptations worldwide, largely due to their easy preparation.

Because they are simple to make and irresistibly delicious, vanilla pudding cookies are bound to become a favorite in your home!

INGREDIENTS

Dough (for 35-40 pieces)

180 g flour
150 g butter or margarine (room temperature)
50 g powdered sugar
1 packet of vanilla pudding mix (about 40 g)
2 packets of vanilla sugar
1-2 tablespoons milk (as needed)

DIRECTIONS

Dough

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar. Use a mixer to blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.

2. Add the pudding powder to the mixture and mix well. Gradually incorporate the flour, mixing until the dough is smooth. If the dough feels too dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of milk to reach the desired consistency; the dough should be soft but not sticky.

3. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate it for half an hour. Once chilled, form walnut-sized balls from the dough and flatten them slightly using the palm of your hand or a fork for a decorative pattern.

4. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Arrange the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each one. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

5. Allow the biscuits to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. They can be served with coffee, tea, or warm milk.

Tips:

– You can substitute the vanilla pudding powder with any other flavor you prefer.
– For added flavor, consider mixing in a bit of lemon zest, coconut flour, or chocolate chips.
– Store the cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh and crispy for up to a week.
