Wholemeal crackers with seeds

These crackers are plain with healthy ingredients and are very simple to make. If you do not like some of the components, you can replace them with your other favourite ingredients. For example, you can add some herbs or other grains. Feel free to indulge in experimentation as with this recipe you will hardly go wrong.

Ingredients

150 g rye flour
50 g white flour
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt (according to taste)
35 g oat flakes
35 g sunflower seeds
35 g flax
35 g sesame
10 g almonds
1.5 dl of water
1 dl of olive oil

Directions

Put in a large bowl all the dry ingredients and mix them with a spoon to make the mixture uniform. Add water and olive oil and stir a little with a spoon to blend the mixture. Take the dough and knead it with your hands. The mixture should be slightly sticky, but if it is too sticky add a little flour. If it is too dry, add some water. Wrap the dough in a transparent foil and place it in the refrigerator for about an hour to cool.
Roll the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out to a thickness of 3 millimeters. Cut the shapes as desired. Place them in a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake crackers in a preheated oven at 180° C for about 20 minutes or until slightly darkened.
