Food intolerance

Food reactions are very common and cause so-called food intolerance, also called non-allergic sensitivity to food.

You may have noticed, repeatedly, that after your meal, you experience difficulty with heartburn, problems with flatulence, digestion, or that you are simply overwhelmed by fatigue. You are also likely to associate all of these symptoms with a current situation or lifestyle in general. However, most people are not even aware of how much food affects our daily lives. Improper diet can cause a bad mood, depression, headaches, skin changes, and even breathing problems. Statistics show that more and more people suffer from food sensitivities, and due to the increasing presence of additives and preservatives, and the decreasing presence of organic food in the diet, it is expected that this percentage will rapidly grow year by year.

Food reactions are very common and cause so-called food intolerance, also called non-allergic food sensitivity. Because the symptoms caused by intolerance are very similar or identical to those triggered by a food allergy, people often mix these two cases. Allergies can be caused by really negligible amounts of food, such as the consumption of a single peanut, and the reaction is instant and affects many organs in the body, some of which can be life-threatening. The intolerance symptoms appear gradually over a few hours or the next day. However, foods that cause intolerance can be eaten in smaller quantities without more severe or drastic consequences.

Intolerance is caused by a lack of certain enzymes needed for food digestion. It is believed that the easiest way to develop food intolerance is to eat unbalanced. Consuming the same foods daily, over some time, will lead to saturation of the body. The most common forms of intolerance are those on wheat, dairy, sugar, salt, and alcohol. Sometimes we can even identify which foods are irritating us, especially if the reaction is more intense, but often some foods pose a problem to us without being aware of it. Since we were experiencing some difficulties after consuming food, we decided to investigate what foods were causing these not-so-desirable symptoms.

In addition to blood tests, there are highly sophisticated appliances which can read the condition of your body with great confidence, and at a much more affordable price. One such device is the computer program EAV test (Electro-Acupuncture according to Voll).

There are various food intolerance tests on the market today, the most common of which are blood tests. However, such tests are expensive, and the results are waiting for up to 15 days. In addition to blood tests, there are highly sophisticated appliances which can read the condition of your body with great confidence, and at a much more affordable price. One such device is the computer program EAV test (Electro-Acupuncture according to Voll).

The program does an energy assessment of an individual by holding a cylinder-shaped sonde in one hand and touching acupuncture points on the fingers of the other hand with the other sonde, that is, measuring micro-currents along the meridian of traditional Chinese acupuncture on the arm. Both probes are connected to the device and the computer to which they are sending the read data. The EAV test is painless and non-invasive and can be used to determine intolerance on more than 150 samples. Among the samples tested are not only foods, but also plants, heavy metals, fibers and materials, and animal hair. The test also determines the reserve of minerals and vitamins in the body. The whole process takes about an hour, and the results are immediately available and printed out for your records. Considering that the test is simple, we decided to try this test at the Studio of Corrective Aesthetics “Zdravi i Vitki” (Healthy and Slim) in Pula.

During the test, the computer program reads and displays the levels of sensitivity to the samples. Sensitivity can be low, medium, and high. Foods that are low in sensitivity can be used once or twice a week. Those medium sensitivity levels can be used every third or fourth week, and foods or high-level samples should be eliminated from the diet for some time. It is best to strictly adhere to the newly established diet for 3 to 4 months for the organism to regain balance. For example, you can consume meat but not fried in breadcrumbs because it contains white flour.

Initially, such food consumption management will be unusual and somewhat of a problem, as we are used to eating whatever comes to our hands. But adjusting to this is short, and you will soon be sourcing and preparing these new foods without reflecting too much. If you adhere to the new diet, improvements in bloating and heartburn will be evident after the first week, and changes in the skin will be noticeable after two to three weeks.

If you are suffering from the same nutritional problems as most other people, we strongly recommend you to take the food intolerance test yourself. Besides getting rid of many problems and getting rid of a few pounds, your life will become better and you more satisfied.

The food that we were ingesting until then, to which the body is intolerant, prevented the regular course of digestion. This causes a variety of adverse reactions in the body. By excluding foods that are intolerant to your body, positive changes will be triggered, among which is the metabolism acceleration. This will get rid of the extra pounds without physical effort.

We tell you this from personal experience and also of our acquaintances. We were surprised that the pounds were melting, although, after applying the new diet, our meals became more frequent and even slightly more abundant. After a few months of strict adherence to nutrition guidelines (it’s not a diet), the figure was a few pounds less on the scale. After several months, if you wish, you can gradually return some foods to your menu. Some foods you will be able to consume without consequences, but some will probably always be a problem for your body, so you better avoid them.

If you are suffering from the same nutritional problems as most other people, we strongly recommend you to take the food intolerance test yourself. Besides getting rid of many problems and getting rid of a few pounds, your life will become better and you more satisfied.
