Easy Corn-Rye Crackers with Thyme
Ingredients
180 g rye flour
100 g corn flour
4 tbsp sesame seeds
4 tbsp sunflower seeds
1 tbsp thyme
a pinch of salt
1 dl water
0,5 dl olive oil
Directions
Put all of the dry ingredients in the bowl and stir them with a spoon to make the mixture even. Then add water and olive oil and stir a bit more to combine. Next, knead the dough with your hands. The dough should be slightly sticky, but if it is too sticky, add some flour, and if it is thick add water as needed. Wrap the dough in a transparent foil and place it in the refrigerator for about half an hour to cool.
Take out the dough from the refrigerator and roll it out to a thickness of 4-5 millimeters. Cut shapes as desired, and arrange them on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake crackers in a preheated oven at 190° C for about 20 minutes or until slightly darkened.
